Fly, drive or train to Inverness.

Then 2 – 2½ hours by road through beautiful Highland scenery.  Relax and enjoy the drive. Public transport access, by bus to Ullapool and Post Bus thereafter would take the best part of a day.

Take A9 north of Inverness crossing the Kessock Bridge. After 3 miles follow A835 due North West to Ullapool (55 miles), and then north (24 miles) to Ledmore Junction. Bear left on A837 towards Lochinver (17 miles). Just before the village turn right onto the B869 (Stoer) Assynt Coast Route.

This is a single track road with passing places, not recommended for caravans.  Sheep and deer take priority over motor vehicles!  Continue through Clachtoll, past the junction to Clashmore/ Point of Stoer, to Clashnessie (8 miles from Lochinver junction).

On entering Clashnessie, take the first track to the right (keeping the Post box to your left), pass through the garden of Crona View, taking care to close both gates. After 100 metres there is a fork in the croft road (just after a ruined caravan).  Take the right fork which leads directly to The Brigs.

Turn right by the small white way-marker which directs walkers to the Falls.
